Finding UGC Work
I started creating UGC in 2024. Finding brands and businesses to work with can be difficult. Here are some tips on finding UGC work that have helped me grow.
Tips:
Post your UGC content and create a following on a platform. I started with TikTok and am now trying to grow my Instagram and Youtube as well.
Always have your email address in your bio. I get a few emails a week for companies that want to work with me.
Know what kind of UGC you want to create, believe me there are a lot of kinds. Photography, Beauty, Travel, Stop Motion Videos, Product Reviews, Product Demos, Promotion Videos and so much more.
Last, know how you will charge for it. Not only the amount but the length of the license.
Where do you find UGC work?
There are a lot of platforms, here is where I have obtained the most work and free products:
Joinbrands. Allows creators to connect with brands via a marketplace. You can take pictures of products, selfies with products, create videos for tiktok, instragram, youtube and more. You do not need a following to start on Joinbrands. Some companies send you the product or free and others will reimburse you.
Cohley - Apply to work on content or to review products for a set fee. Great way to get paid work with brands! I have worked with Dole and Youngblood Cosmetics via Cohley.
Skeepers - An App that allows you to work with brands and have them send you free products. You have 21 days from when you recieve the product to post about it. I am working with Belif and Clarins via Skeepers
Popular Pays - a marketplace where brands connect with creators. You will find everything from big brands to small on this platform.
