Sunsets and Sandbars

I had the pleasure of taking a sunset cruise with Sunsets and Sandbars out of Sarasota.  Our captain picked us up on Siesta Key at Nora Patterson Bay Island Park.  It's a great location to park your car and hop on a boat.  The boat was bigger than I expected with plenty of comfortable seating and space for our party.  We cruised along the Sarasota Bay and headed to Lido Key to get the best view of the sunset.

This is the boat/yacht that we boarded and enjoyed for our cruise.  It is roomy and comfortable.  It has a bathroom, kitchen, dining area and plenty of space to stretch out.  We searched for Dolphins along the way. There was bathroom too.

Going on this cruise felt like a luxurious treat!  We had no worries as Captain Skip expertly drove the boat and we enjoyed the gorgeous ocean views.  About half way through our cruise, the crew put out a beautifully crafted delicious charcuterie board with champagne for us to enjoy.  It was the perfect thing to eat on this magical evening cruise.  We cruised to Lido Key where the clouds parted just the sun began to set.

The Perfect Sunset

Sunsets and Sandbars has several different options for you to choose from when you cruise Sarasota.  All of them look great and I am not sure which one we will try next.  One of their cruises is also a great option for a special occassion like an anniversary or birthday celebration.  Their captain is super helpful and knows the area well.  Here are some of their options:
