Icon of the Seas: First Cruise Since Covid!
We booked the Icon of the Seas and we can't wait to go! We use to cruise fairly frequently until COVID hit. It has been 5 years since our last family cruise. We decided if we were going to go again, we would go big or go home, that's how we decide on the Icon It did not hurt that our good friends are going that week and were able to get us a better rate. We booked this cruise almost 8 months ago. We have watched a bunch of videos of the ship while it was being made, the crew trip to the Bahamas and it's first journey with non-paying passengers to provide feedback on the ship before the first paying customers get on January 27th.
What are our favorite features of the Icon of the Seas?
We can't wait to see the Aquadome which looks futuristic
Ice Skating, our girls love to skate and plan on bringing their skates on the Icon. They have the largest ice skating rink at sea called Absolute Zero.
The water park with 6 "record-breaking" water slides at sea.
The kids are looking forward to going to the kids' clubs and making friends on board.
Walking the plank on Crown's Edge.
