Save 50% on Amazon Purchases with American Express

If you are like me, Amazon comes to your house regularly with deliveries. Did you know you can get 50% off by simply having an American Express card and using just 1 American Express Rewards point?  I heard about this online but could not get it to work until recently, and I want to share the details with you so that you, too can get 50% off your Amazon orders like I did.

First, this does not apply to all American Express cards, you have to have American Express Membership rewards.  Then you have to find products sold and fulfilled by Amazon.  Here are a couple of examples of products that I recently bought that quality:
